My body belongs to Me

The films premiered on Norways public broadcaster NRK Super in 2017, and the following weeks all four episodes where on the channels top10 viewed list online. Today the TV-series is also being used for teaching purposes in schools and kindergardens all over Norway, accompanied by a guidance booklet for teachers and parents made by Save the Children Norway. The booklet is now being translated into english.

My body belongs to Me won the national TV-Award in Norway; Gullruten 2018 for the best children’s and youth program, together with NRK Super's focus days on sexual abuse. The series also became one of top 3 finalists in Prix Jeunesse 2018. And now the series is nominated for the EMMY award.

Because sexual abuse is a complex subject to address Bivrost Film has worked in close cooperation with Save the Children Norway and a diverse group of highly qualied professionals from the fields of education, sexuality, child psycology, law and child sexual abuse. This enabled us to quality-assure the films from several different angles.
